Chapter 344: SEA BED RUMBLES
Conri, Alexander, and I left for the seabed cleansing and finding the old sea god’s pearl nest at dawn. Alexander led the way and I created a bubble that allowed Conri to ride on my back under water. Surprisingly Lucian remained behind with Elder Zaya, Mrs. Hemming, and Haida and I could sense the worry in Dolf because of that little factor.
" I am worried. ’’ Dolf pushed the words through to our mind link.
" I know. " I responded back and then added " He is safe back with Haida and Charry.
" That is not it. I think that there is something more, " Dolf insisted.
" He will tell you in due time " I assured him.
It took us five hours to get to the sea bed spot under the pearl farm. Alexander slowed down in the water and signaled me to look ahead. I sensed Tabular even before I spotted it floating on Cordelia’s body that lay on the sea bed next to the large broken pearl.
" What the fuck " Conri whispered as the sight before us was like one from a demonic scene. Black Aura laced the forest bed where Cordelia lay. I had only seen this level of black Aura on Aipaloovik.
" Let me out my Lord " Meglado boomed.
" Not yet " I responded as I assessed the situation. The waters around us changed color instantly to purple and we heard Yari’s loud voice " Mother Sea awakens"
" That is not the mother sea, " Meglado responded.
We all watched as Tabular sank into Cordelia and then she stood up from the sea bed and turned to us. I could tell that she was just a shell that Tabular used but there was something more. I sensed the power of shifters and pearls embedded in her blood.
