" I feel out of place for the first time since I came to Sikta " Elder Zaya growled at us and we all turned to her sheepishly and she muttered again " Come on Haida, men will always be men. Let them be, I want to enjoy meeting my grandchildren. "
They left the living room with Mrs. Hemming and Haida while we remained behind with our guilt.
" Wow, is everything always this intense. ?" Meglado asked.
" Not really " Lucian rubbed the back of his head and he pulled Tizheruk and me to the couch. He raised his hand to politely ask Asheral to join us.
" I will remain standing " Meglado jokes and Asheral’s brows furrowed as snickered at him Meglado seemed unperturbed by her and continued to glow.
" You have been together for a long time, I presume.
" Yes we have, " Meglado huffed. " Way too long. "
" You are a dark serpent shifter right?" Lucian asked Asheral.
" Yes. I am. Don’t tell me you think dark serpent shifters are bad?" She laughed and she seemed not offended by Lucian.
" Forgive me but the tales we have heard indicate that dark serpent shifters are not normal shifter creatures"
