Chapter 288: THE WEST BORDER PLANS

Everyone convened at the pack office after Aurora and Hunter alerted us that Hunter and Zineb reached out. By 11 am we had matched the location of Steve and Seth and matched it with the area that Aunty Sasha asked.
" We are running out of time," Lucian insisted. I suggest we get to the west border before the attack"
Aurora, Lovitta, Hunter, and Tala agreed to travel to the west border at the foot of Mount Chugach. The rest of the members of the pack plus the family remained behind. Lucian was unhappy to be left behind but I wanted him safe and to keep Elder Zaya company. We boarded the waiting cars and left the pack office late at night. The night skies shone with stars and the cold mountain and forest air rose. The silence in the car was sizzling knowing well that we had to take down the Mangy wolves.
" That fucking Loraine once said that this time would come. I thought she was just being mental. We should have taken her down long ago" Aurora spoke.
" Ma, you never expected it " Lovita’s voice was laced with concern.
" Unfortunately yes" She nodded in response.
" All I know is that Loriane had a tough time. She was tossed left right and center. Fridolf Due and Aria must have done a number on her. She yelled and screamed at Aria once and I heard her mention that Zineb was her daughter"
" What?" Hunter and Tala both gasped.
" I have no idea if she was being honest. " Aurora shrugged her shoulders.
" Aria was not a good man. " I asserted.
