" Isamu, why are you not asking me about the past?" I whispered to him as I went to bed.
" Because I want to tell you about it on your own accord. I can’t afford to lose you " Isamu whispered back and his voice sounded broken.
" Are you mad that I did not tell you ?’" I raised my head and stared down at him.
"No. I am asking why you did not trust me enough to tell me" Isamu’s eyes bore at me.
" I was scared," I whispered.
" Do you think I care about your lineage? You are what matters to be loved " Isamu brushed my hair affectionately.
" My past has always been painful. I discovered I was not Pa’s real daughter when he died. While Lobo and Lovita’s wolf bond was strong, mine was faint. Then Loraine appeared and she went all mental stating Ii was her daughter. That Pa had snatched me away from her and raped her when she reported him.
