Chapter 275: REGRETS AND LOVE MADE
HUNTER’S POV
I was borderline angry when Simon called Tala. Jealousy mixed with anger turned into rage. My eyes blazed even more when she pushed me away and announced that I should not touch her. I had gone into the mountains and set camp at Chugach prison.
I spent two days preparing enforcers to hunt that rat Simon down. In every single corner of Chugach, I knew he would hide his ass and flash out all his contacts. I came up empty and it irritated me and the enforcers stayed clear of my path.
Two days after Anisha called me. "Hunter, we need to talk, "
" I will be there in twenty minutes," I said and disconnected the call.
I knew that Anisha was the one who had informed Tala that Simon was in town. And even hacked his phone. When I arrived at her office her eyes widened when she saw how cold my face was but she hid her fear and smiled. " Hunter, it’s good to see you "
I walked over to her and then embraced her. " How have you been? How is Zeeb?"
She stood her ground and answered. " Well enough"
We walked over to the couch at the corner of the office and sat down. Leaning back on the couch I waited for her to speak. I could see her fidgeting with her fingers and she composed herself.
" Spit it out Anisha" I commanded.
" Hunter, Tala is worried about you. I know that I should have shared the same information that I found on Simon with you. By the cold look on your face and anger in your eyes, I know you are angry."
