Chapter 271: BACK IN CHUGACH
LUCIAN’S POV
We overstayed in Sitka and a week later we were back in Chugach. When we left Sitka, Haida, and Tizheruk had moved to the Villa. Tizheruk had requested Lucian to help him increase the wards around the barrier of the pearl nest. Alexander and Charry hosted us for dinner by the beach and it was such a hearty meal that it made Haida cry happily while Lucian embraced her and rubbed her back.
" It’s the hormones" Charry chuckled.
" I can’t wait for you to feel the same. Alexander winked at her and she smacked his back, making Haida laugh out loud. The feeling of family was overwhelming as Conri laced his hand under the table and his eyes reflected with so much love.
We landed late in the afternoon and by the time we got to the mansion it was already dusk and the maid welcomed us, informed us the food was in the kitchen and then left.
" I missed the smell of the Freki woods" I yawned as I stood at the porch by the back door of the Freki mansion after we had dinner.
" Mmh" Conri nodded as his hands went around my waist as we enjoyed the view of the night sky.
" Husband, I am glad we went to Sitka. " I whispered.
" Dolf restlessness was on point. Tizheruk is a stubborn man and has an ego. He would not ask for help easily. " I nodded.
I turned to him and then pressed our lips together. " Did you like my surprise"
" The images are still freshly imprinted in my mind lil pup" Conri growled and rubbed his nose on my neck.
