Chapter 218: LYAL’S SACRIFICE
We drove up the mountains and arrived at Chugach prison, to find Tala, Hunter, and Benjamin waiting for us. The guards stood on alert and they seemed to be tense because of the presence of Hunter.
" It’s good to see you guys but why must we always meet because of trouble " Tala spoke up and we all chuckled at her words.
" I agree," Benjamin said as we shook hands.
" This will be a hard tackle but it needs to be done" Conri noted.
" Come on" I spoke up as we entered and headed straight for Lyal’s cell. We stood outside and watched his back as he was sleeping facing the wall.
" I wonder what could have brought you all here to visit me. Is Lobo or Zineb dead?" Lyal’s voice reached our ears as he turned around and got out of bed. His eyes widened at the sight of Hunter and Tala.
" You are mated?" He gasped at Hunter.
" He is, " Tala responded.
" You seem proud of being mated to a traitor " Lyal responded with sarcasm.
’" I am proud to be mated to an Alpha" Tala leaned on the wall and smirked.
Lyal’s eyes widened as the words sunk in and then he blew air from his lips and demanded " What do you want?"
