Uncle Cadman’s voice resounded loud in my ears as we boarded the jet and left for Tochigi the next day. Everyone was lost in deep thought and I felt Haida’s hand grab mine and she laced our fingers together.
" You worry too much," She scolded me.
" And you are always reckless. What if you get hurt " I closed my eyes in frustration.
" You are Tizheruk Bering, the serpent sea god. What is there to worry about ?" Haida snickered.
" Top on my head, you. I have this gnawing feeling at the back of my head that always comes when danger is lurking or something bad will happen. I ignored it the last time and now can’t take that chance. "
" My Lord, do you know the power of the sea wolf? " Haida’s eyes twinkled.
" I know very well what your powers are. Do not expose them unless necessary" I scolded her.
" I need to take out anyone who will be a threat to you and Conri," Haida growled.
" You are a brat my Queen" I teased her and she laughed.
" I want to spend all my life with you, hence it’s paramount we all remain safe. I don’t want Zaya Dolf to be sad. She is looking forward to our happiness, ’’ Haida whispered.
