Chapter 191: RAGE AND FURY
ISAMU’S POV
The minute we set foot back in the villa, I knew something was wrong as I could not sense the presence of Zineb. My body stiffened and Lobo sensed it too.
" It was a fucking trap " Lobo growled as we got out of the car and rushed to the villa. The security team that we had left taking care of Zineb was all unconscious on the floor. I tried to track Zineb but her scent ended in the water. I rushed over to the pier with Lobo hot on my heels and got on the boat. I made calls as I tried to navigate the boat and Lobo pushed me aside and said " Let me handle the boat, make the calls, and get the team to find her. "
I nodded at him as I made the signal call with the satellite phone to the submarine captain. " Meet me at the rendezvous point" I instructed him.
" What is going on? " Lobo asked, his eyes wide and furry.
" I can’t smell or even scent Zineb. The trace ends in the water. It can’t be Tizheruk since we left him at the Governor’s mansion. Someone else took Zineb and then got into the water. I have called in the reinforcements so that we can track them "
" Went into the water? Could it have been the Hybrids?" Lobo demanded.
"No. " Isamu shook his head.
" Who then ?" Lobo stared at me with a bewildered look.
" I fucking have no idea but we were played" I roared.
" Calm down" Lobo heaved a sigh.
