" I am going down the bunker to sleep. I believe the two of you have a lot to talk about ’’ Haida snapped as she walked out of the living room and headed down to the bunker.
" Why the hell is she throwing a fit? " Tizheruk muttered in anger as he stared at Haida’s retreating.
" You hurt her feelings, Tizheruk." I raised my hands in frustration.
" How?" Tizheruk snickered and landed on the sofa with a thud.
" How many secrets are you keeping? If Isamu had gone to Sitka you would have remained mute about the serpent shifters" I snapped at him.
" Conri, do you know how dangerous it would be if anyone finds out about them? They thrive on my second heart’s powers. Why would I blabber such information to anyone?" Tizheruk’s voice was filled with frustration.
" Do I look like a stranger to you ?" I growled and he seemed surprised at how angry I was and then lowered his eyes in regret.
" That is not it, Conri. I have been alone for so long that I forgot how to share" Tizheruk explained.
