Chapter 160: COMPARING NOTES WITH ISAMU
LOBO ARIA’S POV
The growling sounds from the mangy wolves alerted me awake from the afternoon nap that I had taken out of boredom and most anxiety in waiting.
" Alpha" one of the guards spoke up. " We have company down the mountains. The wolves sensed them coming and I sent the guards to check. It seemed like we are surrounded and I was waiting for the guards to return and report.
I opened my senses as Aria took control and merged with the mangy wolves to check on what was happening within the forest radius. All the four Hybrids were headed to the mountain. But on the far east, I sensed Zineb and one more Hybrid. Hence I deduced that Isamu must have encountered danger and taken Zineb with him. But where was Lyal?
" Let us use the mangy wolves to distract them and give Isamu leeway to get to us" Aria suggested.
" Yes" I nodded and sent the command to the wolves and they left the mountain. Only one wolf remained behind.
" Alpha, what do you need from us " The enforcer guards asked.
" Stay put. The wolves will take care of them and ofcourse all the traps we set" I stated and walked back into the caves.
" Wait" Aria rose. " Conri is with them"
I turned around and listened in to the mountain and sensed both Conri and Lucian. They were accompanied by two more people that I could not scent. I knew it must be his cousin but who was the other person?
" He came " I smiled.
