Chapter 154: COAXING LUCIAN
"You are one hell of a selfish bastard, " Lucian croaked and walked away before I could retort back and disappear upstairs.
"What the fuck was that?" I whispered to myself.
"Our mate is angry. He is worried that we are not considerate of his feelings and will make reckless decisions. "Dolf pushed the words through.
" You know that Lucian is the most important person in my life, "I retorted back.
"I am just notifying you of what Freki said, "Dolf huffed. "They are both a handful if you ask me. "
"I better let him cool off. "I whispered and walked to the kitchen to make dinner. In twenty minutes, Haida joined in and her eyes blazed with anger as she started doing the dishes in the sink.
"What did he do this time?" I asked Haida.
"He is inconsiderate. He stated that the next time you go hunting, he will leave me behind. Instead of him seeing me as a weapon, he sees me as a weakness that he has to protect. I am not a weak seawolf. We have the best hunting skills and can sense lies. " Haida seethed.
"He loves you and wants to protect you. He will not be able to be in full attack mode if you are around, "I explained.
"Is that the way you left Lucian behind? What about his opinion" Haida raised her eyebrow.
"My first instinct on the battlefield is to protect my mate. Hence, this is more of a weakness and the enemy has only to attack my mate and all hell will break loose. "I added.
