Chapter 142: A VISIT FROM OLD FRIENDS
LUCIAN’S POV
One day later, at almost midnight, Conri and I were enjoying the house to ourselves. Elder Zaya and Eliana Due had left for Canada.
"We need to get away for a while, now that the dust is almost settling and Luna Elijah is in charge of the pack, "Elder Zaya had stated before she left.
"I also need to disappear for a while. Who knows what that bastard Fridolf might be up to" Eliana seethed.
"You need to be careful. I bet he will send someone to follow you, "Conri voiced his thoughts.
"Dont you worry? I have my security team accompany us on this trip," Elder Zaya assured us as they left for the airport.
I stared into the night sky and enjoyed the peace that came with it. Conri had made dinner and then suggested we have a nightcap at the backdoor patio.
"What have you frowning like that?" Conri demanded.
"I want to call Tizheruk" I turned to Lucian. He nodded, removed his phone, put it on speaker, and made the call. He answered on the first ring, "What do you want?"
"Can" t you even speak nicely to your cousin" Conri teased him.
"I know your temperament. You would not call unless it’s urgent," Tizheruk retorted.
