Chapter 100: ATROCITY
"Fucking bastard, " I cursed as I lay on the meadow and refused to sleep next to Hunter. I was pissed off because he had rejected my offer.
"I can hear you" Hunter’s voice was filled with laughter.
"Bastard" I rubbed my hands as the cold bit my finger. "Asshole, "I continued to curse him. I pushed my wolf’s power so that I could bask in the warmth of my wolf. Ten minutes later, I felt the warmth seep in, and then Hunter’s hands went around my body.
"You are making too much noise. How can one sleep?" He pulled me closer and covered me.
"Did you not chase me away?" I complained but welcomed the warmth that he was offering.
"How did the moon gods choose you as my mate?" Hunter whispered. " You are so much trouble. Do you know that I had to take a detour today because you followed me and yet Lobo Aria sent someone to follow me?
I stiffened and turned to face Hunter, whose eyes had changed to gold and I knew that he was using his wolf powers to offer me warmth.
"I was careless" I swallowed hard and then leaned closer. " Hunter"
"What?" He responded.
"Why did you send the Mangy wolf after me? Why did you send those men to follow me?" I demanded.
"It was Alpha Lobo’s orders. But if you notice, no one hurt you. I ensured that you would not get hurt. He wanted to scare you off. I am sorry lil gal" He pressed me closer to him.
