"It’s in the KODA council’s secret room. And the four of you, Benjamin, Ralph Isla, Lupe Elijah, and you, are the guardians of the crystal." I responded.
"Conri?" Elder Zaya pressed on.
"Why are you intent on pushing me?" Conri snapped.
"You have taken too long to accept your fate. After the attack in the forest meadow, I have decided not to hold back anymore. "Elder Zaya snapped.
"Godmother, I never asked for this. I would rather spend my days with Lucian, living away from the Golden pack. "Conri huffed.
"The power of the Adora is diminishing. Of the four elders, I am the only one that connects the crystal to my heart." Elder Zaya Let on.
Conri gasped and stood up. "Why?"
"After Odwolf Freki died, Adora chose me. "Elder Zaya confessed.
"Why is the power of the Adora diminishing?" I spoke up.
"The rightful owner of the Adora power refuses to accept his fate. " Her eyes blazed at Conri.
"Godmother, you know after Ralph took me to the crystal room, everything in the pack changed. The whispers drove Alpha Lobo crazy, and Lupe ended up dead. I don’t want a repeat of history. Then I was not mated, but now I have a mate to protect." Conri pointed out.
