Wan Chu’er felt a bit embarrassed; denying it would seem pretentious, and admitting it wasn’t something she wanted to do.
Finally, she was so freaked out by the look in the old man’s eyes that she rolled her eyes to the sky, spread her hands, and said, "Biologically speaking, I suppose I am."
Hearing her response, the old man chuckled and kept saying:
"Good, good, good!"
Wan Chu’er had no idea what he meant by ’good’, so she pretended she didn’t hear it.
"Could you please make me an outfit? Just so that it won’t bring shame upon Old Man Zhong."
Seeing the old tailor absorbed in his thoughts and Li Shan back to playing dumb, Wan Chu’er could only politely speak up.
The tailor laughed heartily after hearing her request, "Interesting, very interesting."
Wan Chu’er was somewhat baffled; why did this old man always speak in such enigmatic ways?
