After dinner, Wan Chu’er told An Gang the purpose of her visit and pulled out a floppy disk, which contained the game’s installation software and source code.
"Brother An Gang, this is a standalone game I developed during my spare time. Please help me try it out and give me some feedback," Wan Chu’er said straightforwardly.
Upon hearing this, An Gang laughed and praised, "Not bad at all. You haven’t been studying programming for a year and you’re already able to develop a game on your own? Okay, I’ll be your first player. I’ll play it tonight when I get home."
He thought Wan Chu’er had just developed a small game and didn’t take it too seriously, thinking it wouldn’t take long to play through it that evening.
However, when he got home that evening and took out the floppy disk Wan Chu’er gave him, he inserted it into the computer and saw that the installation software was 20MB. He knew that the current hottest Fantasy game was only 33MB.
He became cautious and after clicking on the installation, he waited for it to complete automatically before opening the game’s documentation to read.
The more An Gang read the documentation, the more surprised he became, and he was increasingly eager and rubbing his hands in anticipation.
It looked like it was going to be a fun game.
Finally, the installation ended, and he quickly ran the executable file. Amidst the pleasant music, a colorful landscape scroll unfolded.
This painting looked very familiar to An Gang. After thinking for a moment, it seemed like he had seen it in an art book, likely a work of a great master from the ancient times, but the colors had been reprocessed, making it look even more beautiful.
