Jiang Kechu glanced at Mai Qiqi, nodded, and then looked at the stunned Wan Chu’er, shaking his head. Causing such a stiff situation right upon arriving at school, her personality really was too rigid; this wouldn’t be good for her future interactions with teachers and classmates.
He was originally sending Wei Feng to school and happened to pass by Wan Chu’er’s dormitory building on his way out. He saw a police car parked and two policemen entering the building.

Without a second thought, he reached out and stopped her.
He told himself afterward that he intervened on account of Wan Shiguo; having come across the situation, it was only natural for him to look after Wan Chu’er.
