Flareth’s POV:
Kraytheon roared, unleashing a massive inferno from every inch of his monstrous body. The flames weren’t just hot—they were alive, surging with an intensity far beyond what we had faced before. Aqualia’s ice, once so resilient, began to melt rapidly under the onslaught. Something was different this time. The fire wasn’t just fire—it radiated a dark aura, tainted and corrupted, far more menacing than before.
"KUHAHAHA! DID YOU THINK YOU COULD BEAT ME THE SAME WAY AGAIN? THIS TIME, I WILL BE THE ONE TO DESTROY YOU!" Kraytheon’s voice echoed through the skies like thunder laced with madness. His power was overflowing.
"This is impossible... He broke free so quickly," Aqualia whispered in disbelief. She tried desperately to reinforce the ice seals, pouring every ounce of her magic into freezing him again. But it was too late. Kraytheon had already shattered the bindings, emerging fully cloaked in a swirling mass of red-black flames.
"So, that’s how it is... you’ve accepted power from the Outer God," I growled, eyes narrowing. "What a pathetic coward you’ve become!" My voice rang out, sharp and full of scorn, hoping to provoke him.
"I don’t care about your opinions, goddess," Kraytheon snarled. "As long as I crush you all beneath my flames, I will be satisfied!"
He charged at us, conjuring a devastating spell that launched hundreds of fireballs into the air. They rained down like falling stars, scorching the battlefield.
I turned to Aqualia and shouted, "Get back! Let me handle this alone!"
She hesitated, but she understood. With a long breath, she stepped back, watching me silently from behind.
The moment the fight began, it was chaos. Kraytheon hurled his flames at me like a man possessed, but I met his fire with my own. I smirked, confidence flaring.
"There’s no fire that can surpass the purity of mine! [Divine Flame Barrier]!"
