"HAHAHA! This is going to be fun!" Marius laughed, preparing to tank my attacks. Julius and Termina nodded in agreement, readying themselves for battle.
Milly, Marius, and Julius launched a coordinated attack.
Marius initiated with [War Cry], forcing my attention onto him. When I countered with [Kazekiri], he blocked my attack. Suddenly, Julius and Milly closed in from the front and behind.
Julius unleashed [Starlight Swordsmanship: Flash Barrage], his latest technique—a flurry of consecutive light-based slashes, further enhanced by [Aura Forced], making them even deadlier. I barely blocked his strikes when Milly attacked from behind with [Blackmore Swordsmanship: Kurayami no Mai (Dance of the Black Night)], a chaotic yet precise rapier thrusting technique.
With no other choice, I activated [Dark Magic: Veil of the Shadow], summoning a shroud of darkness to absorb and deflect their attacks. Milly’s thrusts were nullified, but Julius’s strikes shattered my magic barrier, forcing me to counter with [Phantom Slash].
"So, you finally resorted to using that cursed Dark Magic!" Milly shouted at me.
