Chapter 133: A Forced Date?!
As Envi and Freya stepped out of the engagement ceremony hall, I let out a long sigh, relieved that Freya’s problem was finally resolved. Though things got a little chaotic, at least Envi didn’t make the situation worse. I decided to let him keep control of my body for the rest of the day while I rested in the system realm, recovering my mental strength after exhausting myself in the battle against Vaelgorath.
Envi ran outside, holding Freya’s hand, both of them laughing freely, overflowing with happiness. They soon approached Lyra, who had been waiting outside. The moment Freya saw her, she rushed forward and embraced Lyra tightly, as if they were long-lost friends reuniting after years apart.
"Freya!"
"Lyra!"
They hugged each other, crying tears of joy. Freya quickly recounted what had happened inside, how Envi had saved her and canceled the engagement with Cain.
Lyra laughed as she listened to how Envi had swooped in dramatically, saving Freya and even earning Cain’s recognition.
"Thank goodness, Freya. We can still be together. I’m so happy!" Lyra said, squeezing Freya’s hands tightly.
"Me too, Lyra. I’m so glad to be with you all again, with our friends..." Freya smiled warmly as she squeezed Lyra’s hands back. They embraced once more—until an unexpected interruption occurred.
Envi suddenly slipped between them and wrapped his arms around both of them in a tight hug.
"Kyaa!" Lyra squeaked, startled, her face turning red.
"Naoki-dono?!" Freya gasped, equally surprised by Envi’s sudden move.
