Chapter 52: Ch- 52 Meneal System
She paused for the briefest moment before concluding.
Once the Assembly begins, I—along with my sisters—will oversee the discussions. We will listen to all arguments, consider every position, and when the time comes... the vote will proceed, just as it always does once deliberations are complete. That process will not change.
"Meanwhile," she continued, "as I’ve stated before—the actual judgment has already been made. After consulting with my two sisters, our next step after leaving here will be to initiate the agenda: implementing the Tier-7 warship program and deciding when it will begin."
"Following the Federation Council meeting, and assuming our preparations are complete, we will proceed with formal activation."
Her voice lowered slightly, but it carried an edge of finality sharp enough to silence the universe.
"Now that you have heard my judgment," the Goddess of Wisdom concluded, "let me summarize: this is an unprecedented opportunity—one that must be capitalized on, not rejected, especially not over some vague and speculative fears of an uncertain future whose likelihood of danger is statistically negligible."
She paused briefly, then continued, "And more importantly, humanity stands to benefit—immeasurably so. The projected gains outweigh any and all potential losses, even those projected into the farthest reaches of the future."
She ended her statement with the same composed neutrality she had maintained from the beginning—her expression calm, her tone returning to its pure, AI-like detachment. With a final, and more formal nod, she added:
"See you at the Council Assembly, Grand Admiral John. Admiral Natasha."
And with that, her holographic form flickered and vanished, fading not just from the room, but from John’s flagship Oblivion altogether.
The transmission terminated as she withdrew from the Nova Star Sector, returning to her sanctum deep within the Federation’s most protected territory.
