Chapter 44: CH-44 Armageddon-Class
William then snapped his fingers.
The holographic projection shifted subtly. The image of the Armadon-Class Destroyer vanished, leaving only the Panther-Class Frigate in full display. As the figure stabilized, key systems and components began highlighting one after another with precision and elegance.
He began, voice calm and steady, as if narrating something mundane—despite the sheer power being revealed.
"This," he said, gesturing lightly toward the rotating image, "is the Tier-7 Panther-Class Frigate. By Tier-7 standards, it ranks as a low to mid-grade vessel—not the peak of the tier, but still vastly superior. In fact, it’s more than a hundred times more capable than a peak Tier-6 ship."
That claim alone made both Grand Admiral John and Natisha tense with surprise, exchanging a quick glance—but William continued without pause.
"It’s 320 meters long—slightly larger than most conventional frigates—with a width of 80 meters and a height of 72 meters. The hull is constructed from a rare but stable Tier-7 alloy: Magnetite. Not the rarest material in the galaxy, no, but far stronger than anything you’ve used before."
He waved a hand, and the outer shell of the ship was isolated and magnified.
"Even with a relatively thin hull design, it can withstand capital-grade attacks—including those from your ship’s main gun—for a significant duration... and that’s without its shield active."
That statement earned audible surprise from both admirals. Yet William simply continued, unfazed.
"The Panther is equipped with a Tier-7 Quad-Configuration Shielding System—commonly known as an Aura Shield. It works in conjunction with red-particle energy, strengthening itself dynamically against all forms of attack, adapting and intensifying in real time."
Another look of astonishment crossed their faces, but William pressed on with his presentation, voice steady and utterly composed.
