Yang Fan used the iron chains to bind Ying tightly with three loops, securing it to a utility pole.
Zhou Yingnan, visibly alarmed, asked from the side, "Is this the thing that’s been stalking me all the time?"
"Yeah, this thing is petty and holds grudges," Yang Fan replied. "I suspect its original dwelling was in the Hot Spring Cave down below. You took over the place, leaving it homeless. So now it’s been harassing you intentionally, trying to scare you."
Zhou Yingnan managed a forced smile and said wryly, "When you put it like that, I sound like the bad guy."
"We’ll know for sure tomorrow when we go down to investigate," Yang Fan said with a grin, "and if my guess is correct, then in a way, you are the bad guy for taking over its territory."
