Yang Fan whispered the details of his situation with the Beautiful Young Woman to Xiang Xue Ting’s ear.
"You’re pretty bad, scaring people for no reason," Xiang Xue Ting said with a wave of her hand. "You guys figure out your own misunderstandings. I’ve got stuff to do and no time to dawdle with this. I’ll call you when I’m free."
"Do you need me to show you the entrance to that basement?" Yang Fan asked.
"Just tell me the rough location," Xiang Xue Ting pulled Yang Fan aside and said softly, "What comes next isn’t really convenient for you to be involved in. Otherwise, you’d have to explain how you came by this evidence. You get what I mean, right?"
Yang Fan nodded, "No worries, I don’t want to meddle."
"You two take the last car later. I’ve arranged for someone to take you back. But, before that, you should deal with that woman and make sure she doesn’t have any videos or anything on her," Xiang Xue Ting instructed.
Yang Fan let out a wry smile, "She actually does have one."
"Then you’d better find a way to have her delete the video. It shouldn’t be too difficult. You can bluster, using my status as a police informant," Xiang Xue Ting said with a light chuckle. "Though, what you two have been doing is basically the work of my informants, just without the title."
"Even if the video she has gets out, it wouldn’t really affect our case, but it would affect the two of you. The Bi Family has great power. I’m worried you two might get targeted by them for retaliation."
Yang Fan’s expression turned serious as he nodded in understanding.
"Alright, then that’s settled. Little Fanzi, you’ve done a really impressive job this time," Xiang Xue Ting swiftly pecked Yang Fan on the cheek as swiftly as a lightning strike and said in a low voice, "When I’m done with my work, I’ll give you a proper reward."
