Chapter 145: defending Liam from his family
Seeing him buying a bunch of drinks and drinking beer alone in the classroom, Maureen said with some confusion,
"Do you not want to hang out with Liam’s mother? If you don’t, why don’t you just refuse?"
Demon shot her a glance, "You think I wanted to do this?"
On this night, perhaps due to his despair, Demon ended up spilling his guts after having a bit too much to drink.
