Chapter 58: Astri’s Rules
Astri doesn’t mind what her mates are doing to prepare for war. Besides, she is not sure of the outcome.
Nature calms her heart, because she never had to go through war and doesn’t know exactly what that might implicate to the people and her family. She only knows that nothing good comes from war.
She might lose her spouses and that is something she doesn’t want to feel ever again. However, now they must think as a family and for the tribes too.
"What exactly do you plan to do?" Zin asks her, spooning her on the bed, and she’s facing Wayde.
"I’m not sure yet." She answers.
"Promise us you won’t put yourself at unnecessary risk." Lee says.
Realization hits on Lee when he sees Wayde playing with Astri hand on his face.
You! Get out. You took my night with her, so you lose your position on her side too." Lee says.
Wayde sighs annoyed, but he knows it will be useless discussing things with Lee. Wayde kisses Astri’s lips and stands up.
"What do you mean took your night?" Astri asks while Lee is laying on her side and hugging her close to him.
"I asked them to give me a night with you today. I planned a special treatment for you and he took it from me." Lee answers.
