Chapter 53: Envious Heart
Everyone is gathered to watch Astri and Ana duel. Astri wants to try and give Ana a lesson that will make her stop bothering her family forever.
"Ana! We’re prospering and our tribe is stronger because of them. Fighting Astri is disrespecting them!" Shung barks at Ana.
"It’s not. Any female can duel the other for her males." Ana responds,
"Do you think you can defeat her? And even if you do, they won’t come with you. They love her and won’t ever leave her because of this ridiculous fight." Shung says.
"I believe all of them are males of their word, besides the snake. The snake can leave." Ana is concentrated and blind now, everything she wants is Astri’s head.
"Listen to us just this time, Ana.. Stop it." One of Ana’s spouses speaks.
"Are you not scared of what might happen to us too? Her males will revenge her on us." Another of her spouses says.
"Shut up! If you’re not going to help defeat her, don’t stay in my way! I’m doing this for us to have the sole power again." Ana speaks.
"Don’t put us in this! I don’t want to lose their partnership!" Shung stomps away.
Astri was waiting they finish talking with crossed arms. She looks pretty calm for someone who might lose all of her mates, and everyone notices that.
"Lee? Would you make the honors, love? Let’s finish this, we still have dinner to prepare." Astri says to Lee.
