Total Anarchy
The "garden," Flora's living and mutable creation, was now the stage of total anarchy.
(CRASH, CRASH, CRASHH!!)
The battlefield situation had been divided into three foci of chaos.
"Glug... glug..."
(Shing...)
"Hhhkk... Hhhkk..."
In the first scenario, Shija and Olivia (Vargas) lay neutralized, Shija's sword fallen, and Olivia's empowered body, controlled by Vargas's soul, inert against a stalk.
(SQUELCH! CRUNNCH!!)
"Hee-hee-hee! You missed that one, clumsy!"
(THUMMMP!)
"Damn it!"
In the second scenario, Fortea (Gordon) was fighting desperately on the central platform, surrounded by floral zombies and Flora's illusions, being slowly cornered.
(BOOOOM!! CRACK-SHATTER!! WHUMMP!!)
And on the periphery, in the third scenario, the most brutal and explosive pursuit continued, a duel of brute force versus desperate agility, in which Boudica, turned into a machine of blind fury, did not worry about the fallen while maintaining a single objective in mind...
(BOOM!!)
Boudica's fist, wrapped in intense energy and coated in her own blood, slammed against the Garden's stalks and platforms.
(KRAKK-SHOOOOM!!!)
The impacts were so powerful that they tore apart the vegetal architecture, sending gummy splinters and fragments of giant leaves flying through the air.
"Damn monster! I didn't expect her to still have so much power left..."
But her opponent, Elizia (Rex), however, was not just a runner; her movement was a precise choreography over the unstable roots and vines.
(POWM! POWM! POWM-CRACKK!!)
Elizia (Rex) avoided every blow. She leaped, spun, and slid, using the momentum of Boudica's destruction to her advantage.
"Don't you dare touch me, beast!"
One instant she was perched on the tip of a stalk, and the next, she had slid under a devastating blow that pulverized the platform where she had just been, hissing with a tense tone while her movements became more desperate and swift to avoid the inevitable destruction.
(THU-BAMM!!)
In this way, Elizia (Rex) moved with the panic of a cornered animal but with the grace of a dancer, using the vibrations of destruction to calculate her next jump.
(Unlike that beast, I am not blind.)
But while her body executed a choreography of desperate avoidance, Elizia (Rex)'s mind worked with surgical coldness, completely detached from the panic of her flight.
(Run, just run...)
When starting her pursuit, her strategy had been simple but relied on patience: wait while watching the other battlefields.
(It's humiliating, but it's the only way to survive that red monstrosity.)
Elizia (Rex) had used herself as bait, immediately understanding her opponent's explosive destructive power, but, in turn, seeing her condition, she knew it was an unsustainable force in the long run.
(Keep expending that strength.)
Elizia (Rex) observed the blood dripping from Boudica's internal and external wounds; every crimson stain was a countdown for her.
(Keep bleeding out!)
Every strike from Boudica consumed her own vitality faster, bleeding at an increasingly accelerated rate due to previously inflicted cuts and wounds.
(Even though the boss went down, at least I could finish off that samurai!)
Elizia (Rex) was waiting to diminish the explosive power of her opponent's blows until the exhaustion was so great that the speed of her charges decreased, allowing her to finish her off. Meanwhile, she was simultaneously looking for openings to provide support to other battlefields, seizing the perfect opportunity to intervene and neutralize a potential danger.
(Now I just need to get rid of this one and regroup with Gordon to finish off that annoying fairy!)
Elizia (Rex) calculated the distance, time, and destruction. She just needed Boudica to weaken a little more.
(But it doesn't look like she can hold out much longer!)
However, her only concern was that Fortea (Gordon) survive the zombies, which seemed to possess some kind of immortality, for no matter how destroyed or pulverized they were, they were still capable of regenerating through the flowers that parasitized their bodies.
"GRRR..."
(WHAM-CRACK-FSHH!!)
But while those thoughts crossed her mind, Elizia (Rex) dodged a blow by a thousandth of a second.
"!!"
The shadow of the fist lightly grazed her back, making her feel that her waiting time was reaching its limit.
(KREAK! SWISSHH!!)
Therefore, at that moment, Elizia (Rex) made the decision to reposition herself; through a rapid lateral thrust, she reached a serpentine root running diagonally to the left.
(BOOM!!)
Behind her, the explosive sound of Boudica's last impact reverberated.
"Ggghhh...!!"
And, immediately afterward, with a guttural growl, she proceeded to jump toward Elizia (Rex) in a single leap through the air.
(SHOOOOM!!)
Thus, Boudica launched herself like a meteor, charging ferociously.
(DOOOOOOM-CRACKEN!!!)
But Elizia (Rex), in reaction, executed a backward somersault to evade the massive, descending blow that was aimed directly at her position.
(KRAKK-ZSH!)
However, unexpectedly upon her evasion, the failed impact against Elizia (Rex) violently shattered the serpentine root.
(WOOSSHHH! KA-BOOOMM!!)
The vegetal structure, already weakened by Boudica's continuous attacks, could not withstand the force and broke, collapsing with a roar of wood and torn pulp.
"Damn it!"
In this way, Elizia (Rex) and Boudica fell together from that immense height, wrapped in the remains of the collapsed stalk.
"GRRRRR!!"
The fall was fast, disorderly, and deadly. The control over the situation that Elizia (Rex) had managed had vanished, for, in the air, she could no longer control the direction, only the angle of impact.
(KRA-BOOM!!!)
On the other hand, taking advantage of one of the broken stalk fragments floating nearby, Boudica used it as a foothold. By means of a Herculean kick, she propelled herself against the fragment, transferring all the impact energy to a nearby point in the vine network.
(RUMBLE!!)
This caused the sudden impact on the surrounding stalks to generate a chain reaction that took everyone present by surprise.
"Fun!!"
"Now what...?!"
"?!"
And what happened next was even more alarming.
(It can't be?!)
As Elizia (Rex) fell uncontrollably, she witnessed a terrifying phenomenon. She noticed, with horror, how all the areas that were now collapsing had been previously hit or weakened by Boudica's erratic attacks in the middle of her pursuit.
(That damn woman!!)
Then she understood that such a coincidence should be, logically, impossible for someone who has completely abandoned reason, merely yielding to the impulses of blind rage.
Unless...
(From the beginning?!)
... In reality, her fury was not the engine of her movements, but the mask.
(CRACK! SHATTER!! WHOOMP!! RIIIP!!)
Along with that revelation, the Garden began to collapse in parallel; immense stalks and vine platforms were tearing and falling to the ground.
"What was it you said before...?"
And while destruction spread all around her, Boudica had achieved her objective.
"?!"
Boudica, propelling herself off the descending debris, ascended into the sky, allowing her to land on a high and stable platform.
"Oh, right, now I remember."
There, the red warrior, coated in blood, had used the environment as a springboard to gain the perfect height and position for the next attack.
"You let your guard down!!"
Then Boudica roared, now holding a dominant position over the chaos she had created.
(That wretch deceived me!!)
That was when Elizia (Rex) realized her fatal error.
She had superficially thought her opponent had lost control, acting as a furious beast who wasted her movements on blows of pure brute force.
(What can I do?!)
Elizia (Rex) had reached the premature conclusion that she was fighting someone who, at the gates of death, had gone mad through pain to perform beyond her limits.
(How did this happen?!)
What Elizia failed to consider was that the constant and torturous "punishments" that Melioris inflicted on Boudica had granted her an unimaginable tolerance for pain.
(I must defend myself!!)
Burning with fury for having been deceived, Elizia desperately proceeded to adopt a defensive posture. Amidst the tons of vines, stalks, and giant buds that were detaching (creating a storm of vegetal debris plummeting toward the ground), she curved her body in the air to protect her vital organs. Her eyes moved frantically, searching for any debris she could use to gain movement or deflect her fall.
(FWIIISH-CRUMBLE-CRACK!!)
But unfortunately, among the fragments passing beside her, none were stable or extensive enough to allow her movement.
"GRRRRRRRR-OOOOOOOOH!!!"
Boudica, on the other hand, showed neither pity nor hesitation. From her elevated position, while the Garden fell to pieces around her, she positioned herself.
Her body tensed to the maximum, compressing all her remaining strength—every ounce of remaining power, every muscle fiber, every drop of ignored pain—into a single, devastating blow.
(KRRRSHHH-GWOOOMMM!)
It was such an immense concentration of physical energy that the air around her was distorted.
(ZZZZZNNN!)
Finally, the energy condensed into a minuscule point, vibrating with power.
(BOOOOOOM-SHOOOOM!!!)
Immediately afterward, Boudica shot out, launching her blow with a silent fury before the explosion...
(KRA-WHOOOOOOMP!!! SHATTER!!!)
In the end, the sound was like a controlled explosion, a concentrated shockwave.
"PFFFTTT!!!"
And the impact completely destroyed Elizia's weapon, pulverizing it into fragments that vanished into the air, while Elizia (Rex)'s armor, which was no match, shattered, revealing her vulnerable body beneath.
(THUD!)
Thus, Elizia (Rex) was instantly knocked out, her inert body floating amidst the fall, the trace of the impact's wind blast echoing as the final note of the battle.
