Chapter 92: Waiting
She couldn’t believe her parents allowed her to live with Caden alone. Although it was just two to three times a week, she was still surprised that they gave her permission to stay in Caden’s flat for a few days.
After talking to her parents, also she called Lucas to inform him about it. Even her twin brother’s reaction confused her. She was expecting to get scolded and that he would be against it.
"Just don’t forget to come home in Queen’s for the rest of the week or I’ll drag you out of his unit." He said.
It was her second day in Caden’s hotel suite and all of her clothes were brand new, delivered by Azalea. She was busy placing her things in their bedroom when Caden stepped inside.
"I will return to Willow Green. Are you sure you will stay here and wait for me?" He asked.
Her heart pounded. She knew exactly why he would go to Willow Green. Caden’s men found out about the bottled water she drank the other day. It was tested and was confirmed that an aphrodisiac was added to it. The one who put the bottled water in the vending machine was a student of Golden Oak. Michael Cerro, Benjamin Miller’s secretary, sponsored him.
"I-I’ll wait here." She said.
Caden nodded and went inside the walk-in closet. She followed and was surprised to see him holstering two guns around his body.
She didn’t say a word, but she stepped closer to him and helped him prepare. Caden stared at her as she buttoned his shirt.
"I’ll cook dinner, so you have to come home tonight. I’ll wait for you." She said and smiled at him.
He nodded and then pulled her into a tight embrace. She heard him sigh and felt his lips on top of her head.
She tilted her head up while wrapping her arms around his waist. He leaned closer to give her a passionate kiss.
