Chapter 14: Caroline
Caden never knew he had a little sister other than Mireya. His parents never told him about Caroline. He found out that there was someone who had the same last name as him in campus and asked her to get investigated.
He received a call from one of his bodyguards that the girl was indeed Lucia Caroline Hulls-Richards, his little sister who just started junior year. She was a troubled child, always getting into fights.
He was informed that some boys from his class took her to the rooftop so he quickly went there.
"You’re pretty but you have a bad mouth and looked highly of yourself." One boy said.
"Did you know? They said she was that crown prince’s sister, but she didn’t look like a royal." Another one said.
The others laughed at her.
"I heard a rumor that the royal family didn’t know about her. She was abandoned by her family. Her brother didn’t even know she existed."
Laughter echoed on the open rooftop. She wanted to cry, but she couldn’t accept the fact that these boys laughed and mocked her.
She smirked. "Who said I care? You can laugh all you want, and mock me, but you will never be on the same level as me. You are all cowards. All you can do is fight a girl like me? Where are your balls?"
One of the boys glared at her and grabbed her by the collar. He then grinned at her.
