The house was near Bai Xiao’s Medical University, just one bus stop away, located within a courtyard.
The owner of the house was previously a professor at the Medical University but was now being transferred to another province. Since the house was privately owned, they planned to sell it and use the money to buy a new property at their new location.
The courtyard was vibrant with blooming flowers in the two flower beds, and at the center stood a flourishing, ancient Guihua tree. On both sides, lush grape trellises encircled the area.
Tranquil yet filled with rustic charm, it was hard to imagine such a courtyard existing in the heart of a bustling city, like a hidden paradise.
Both of them instantly loved it. The privacy was excellent, and there was no hassle of going up and down floors. Most importantly, the layout of the house was impressive. There were five rooms in total, as well as a spacious living room. The living room wall featured full-length glass windows, allowing sunlight to flood the entire house on bright days.
Upon entering, the expansive living room greeted them. The room was carpeted in red, with a circle of sofas arranged against the walls. To the left of the living room was the original owner’s study, while the right side was the dining area.
How to renovate it in the future would be entirely up to them.
