Chapter 647 Counterattack

Just wait, you’ll get what’s coming to you soon enough." The man cursed and swore as he walked up behind Bai Xiao, followed by a flurry of punches and kicks.
There were also the old man’s groans. Bai Xiao now fully understood that this elderly gent must have been dragged into this mess because of her.
It must have been when she was being hit over the head, the old man saw and tried to help, which got him caught and brought back with her.
She forcefully shifted the chair, and finally, the grating friction between the chair and the floor startled the man.

The man seemed to be standing in front of her, and then the blindfold covering her eyes was ripped off.
The dim light was so harsh that it pained her eyes. Bai Xiao quickly shut them and slowly accustomed herself to the light.
