Chapter 536 Greed Is Never Satisfied
Bai Xiao and An Zhiyuan had a simple meal as well, not expecting to find the house fully stocked with everything they could need, except for fresh vegetables; there was an abundance of rice, flour, oil, salt, and various seasonings.
The two made some egg drop soup, and after finishing a bowl each, they finally felt comfortable. Rushing all the way here had been exhausting, not to mention the cold weather. They had been busy and didn’t have any chance to rest properly for a while.
Only then did they go to bed to sleep.
