Even if it’s urgent, it wouldn’t help. This project needs tremendous start-up capital. Sometimes, Gu Hongwei feels a bit quixotic, even contemplating engaging in such a business.
He might be insane.
What surprised him though was that Si Chen and Tong Yao didn’t think he was crazy. One suggested and supported him while the other had the idea of investing.
Thinking about it, Gu Hongwei’s lips curled into a small smile.
It’s rare to find a confidant in life. Meeting Si Chen and Tong Yao is enough for a lifetime.
His gaze drifted towards Guo Jinnian and he couldn’t quite put a finger on his feelings towards him. He quietly shifted his gaze away.
Upon hearing that Gu had begun to console himself, Guo Jinnian snorted, "Gu Hongwei, do you look down on the small amount of money I have?"
Tong Yao held back a laugh. Her gaze lingered on the two of them, thinking: these two are like small love-hate partners.
Gu Hongwei spoke honestly, "It’s not that I look down on it, it’s that our little money can’t sustain this business. If the business really takes off and the subsequent funds break, we will be as uncomfortable as being barbecued on a furnace."
If the business really takes off, then the money invested will be all their savings. What if it all gets lost? What will they do then?
