Chapter 511: Your Biological Father is in Jail
"A snot-nosed little girl dares to lay her hands on people? She must be fed up with life." Lin Fengying’s uncle pointed at Tong Yao and roared in fury, stretching out his hand to drag Tong Yao off the bullock cart. But Gu Hongwei and Si Boyi quickly intervened to block him.
Gu Hongwei commanded with a icy stare, "I’ve told you before. If you have any issues, talk to me. Don’t involve others."
Si Boyi watched the crowd with a wary glare. As long as he was there, no one would be able to bully Tong Yao. His brother had instructed him to take good care of her.
It was their family who had wronged Tong Yao in the first place; they couldn’t allow her to be bullied here.
"What good is it talking to you? You watched as I was hit, did you come to my aid?" Gu’s aunt scolded, pointing at Gu Hongwei, her eyes bulging with fury. "You useless wretch, always favoring outsiders over your own aunt. If I had known you’d turn out this way, I would’ve smothered you in your sleep."
Knowing they couldn’t escape, Guo Jinnian and Tong Yao dismounted from the bullock cart, one from the front and one from the back. They weren’t afraid, and Guo Jinnian even rolled up her sleeves in preparation for a fight. It had been a while since she’d had a good brawl.
She remembered the last fight she had was when someone was jealous of her making money and tried to have her beaten up.
"You can have the land, just let them go." Gu Hongwei intended to placate these people to allow Tong Yao and Guo Jinnian to escape.
"It’s too late for that. Unless these two brats kneel down and apologize, nobody is going anywhere."
Aunt Gu’s oldest and youngest sons attempted to apprehend Tong Yao and Guo Jinnian but were blocked by Gu Hongwei and Si Boyi. However, several other men held them back.
