Chapter 491: The Death of Shi Yan
It was past midnight before the two of them fell asleep. The compartment was empty and coupled with the late hour, Shi Yan and Lin Man didn’t bother to put their clothes on. The narrow bunk bed could barely fit one person, let alone two. She had evicted Shi Yan to the opposite side... and then fell into a deep sleep.
During the night, Lin Man was awoken by a rustling noise. She opened her eyes and was instantaneously petrified. The compartment was pitch black, but she saw a shadowy figure sitting by her bed, a figure that clearly wasn’t Shi Yan.
Once her eyes adjusted to the darkness, she saw Shi Yan pinned to the bed, unable to move. The man by her bed was looking at her with a gloomy expression.
Lin Man was so scared that she couldn’t make a sound. Her body was shaking uncontrollably. She regretted not heeding Shi Yan’s advice to call others for help.
Although she could not make out the faces of the two men, she recognized them as the two men from the bathroom.
Then, Shi Yan’s voice sounded.
"Brothers, all the money is in the bag under the bed. Take it all, as long as you don’t hurt us."
The man pinning Shi Yan down let out a cold sneer, "Of course I want the money, what else did you think I came here for?"
Shi Yan didn’t dare to argue on impulse, instead, he quickly nodded and echoed, "Yes, yes, you’re right. Rest assured, take everything you want. We won’t make a sound."
"You’re pretty smart," the man pinning Shi Yan snickered, patting Shi Yan’s cheek, "Too bad you had big plans taking half of the money to purchase goods, causing us quite a loss."
