Chapter 352: Lin Man Gets Beaten Up
Zhao Wenyu was bristling with anger, but he was helpless. He wanted to move his father to another hospital, but no other hospital was willing to accept him.

The doctors advised the family to spend more time talking to Zhao Rongwei, to stimulate his brain. Zhao Wenyu was so infuriated by his father’s lack of response that he vented his rage by throwing tantrums in the ward, taking it out on Lin Man.
Fang Xiujing’s admonitions had no effect. Zhao Wenyu remained agitated, even going so far as to slap Lin Man across the face as she was injecting Zhao Rongwei with a nutrient solution.
Zhao Wenyu was strong. The slap left half of Lin Man’s face swollen. The relatives in the ward had always been difficult, so Lin Man had learned to keep her words to a minimum, finishing her tasks quickly to avoid drawing attention. But she hadn’t expected Zhao Wenyu to hit her without warning.
Stunned by the slap, Lin Man, and even Fang Xiujing were taken aback. When Fang Xiujing recovered, she apologized quickly to Lin Man, "I’m sorry, my son is just too worried for his dad. On his behalf, I apologize. Your face is swollen; you should apply some ointment. We’ll reimburse all your medical expenses. I’m so sorry."
Regaining her senses, Lin Man glared at Zhao Wenyu with angry eyes. No one had ever dared to hit her like this before.
Especially in front of Fang Xiujing and Zhao Wenkai, the slap had left her feeling not just physical pain, but humiliation and assault on her dignity.
