Chapter 33: Persuading Divorce
He Fang was happy to hear these words. The stove she made indeed wasn’t worth much, but it was a hassle to construct. Since her father put great effort into making this stove, it would naturally be good to get more money for it.
"Sis, don’t worry. I promise I’ll have the stove ready for you tomorrow. I won’t delay your use of it."
Tong Yao nodded, "Then I’ll trouble you all with this. I’ll go buy a table and bring it over later."
Having settled this matter, Tong Yao headed directly to the street. After much inquiry, she managed to buy cups for the milk tea. The price was higher than she had imagined—one cup even cost a cent. The straws required exceeded her original budget. After much hesitation, she gritted her teeth and bought over a hundred cups. She also bought black tea, rock sugar, oil drainer, enamel tanks, a folding table, and three large water barrels. Finally, she bought a large round pot. In short, she bought everything she needed.
Due to the injury on her arm, it was inconvenient for her to carry stuff. Therefore, she simply called a taxi to send the items to He Fang’s house. The driver was a kind-hearted person and helped Tong Yao move the items into He Fang’s house.
He Fang stared wide-eyed at the room full of stuff. Only after the driver left, she curiously asked, "Girl, why did you buy so much stuff? What are you planning to do?"
After a busy morning, Tong Yao was sweating profusely and her bangs were sticking to her face. She pushed her bangs aside, "Sister Fang, I won’t hide it from you. I got all this stuff because I plan to set up a stall in front of the Number One Middle School to sell milk tea."
"Milk tea?" He Fang was clueless. "What is milk tea? I’ve never heard of it."
