Lu Lei felt a cool sensation on his face. As he reached up to touch it, under the illumination of the light, there were two glistening droplets on his fingers!

But that luminous black cat, along with the couple, urged him on, meowing anxiously as if urging him to quickly follow the couple along the path!
Lu Lei had an instinctive trust and belief in the black cat that had wandered with him in the darkness for an unknown length of time. Since the cat also indicated for him to follow the couple, he felt reassured and ran forward with them.
Yet, as Lu Lei ran, he kept glancing back at the black cat, feeling more at ease only when he saw it was following him.
The woman beside Lu Lei seemed to notice his thoughts; she bent down, picked up the luminous black cat, and continued to drag Lu Lei forward.
