Chapter 402: Ouroboros vs Special Unit
Ouroboros’ eyes were cold as he gazed at the Behemoth rolling down the mountain, its massive form crushing everything in its path. The thought of finishing the job crossed his mind, killing intent flashing in his eyes, but he did not get distracted. This was not a one-on-one fight but a battlefield with many crucial fronts that required his attention. His gaze soon turned to the most significant threat on the battlefield—the Special Unit Leviathan.
Although the Special Unit Leviathan was wounded and the Lords of Horror kept it at bay, the white juggernauts were practically burning themselves out to fight it head-on while holding back the rest of the Leviathan warriors. It was clear they could not maintain this much longer.
"I will go for the Special Unit; help protect the inner wall," Ouroboros declared to the Royal Guards.
As soon as he finished speaking, shadows enveloped his figure, and he vanished. Sonic booms echoed from his previous position as he dashed forward at supersonic speed, the air rippling in his wake.
"BOOOOOOOOMMMMM!"
A kinetic explosion echoed in the distance the next second as Ouroboros’ fist collided with the shield of the Special Unit Leviathan, sending the monstrous creature hurtling through the air. The impact created a shockwave that rippled across the battlefield, momentarily halting the clashes around them.
A cold light appeared in the Special Unit’s eyes as it twisted its body mid-air, regaining control. It focused intently on the one who had attacked it. The hive mind had a profile of the fiendish werewolf due to information gathered from drones during the battle of the Molten Range. However, Ouroboros was much more powerful now—a physical force that surpassed even the Special Unit, surprising the Leviathan.
Of course, that surprise did not translate into fear or hesitation for the Special Unit. If anything, it only intensified its desire to kill the fiendish werewolf.
Without wasting a moment, Ouroboros and the Special Unit Leviathan dashed toward each other once more, killing intent blazing in their eyes. Explosions echoed as they clashed repeatedly, each collision sending destructive shockwaves in all directions. The ground beneath them cracked and shattered, debris flying through the air.
The Lords of Horror pursued the duo, their white armor stained with the ichor of fallen Leviathans. They kept the Leviathan warriors from interfering in the fight, always ready to deliver a decisive blow to the Special Unit Leviathan if the opportunity presented itself.
Back on the external part of the inner wall, Frank, Mirena, Roman, Clasius, and Amara were laying waste to all the Leviathans they encountered. Roman and Clasius moved through the left flank. Roman soared through the air, his bow a blur as he fired dozens of arrows that exploded upon impact, blasting drones to pieces.
Clasius was a whirlwind of steel on the ground below. He swung his massive sword with practiced ease, generating powerful shockwaves that crushed everything around him. His strikes sent ripples through the air, knocking back multiple foes at once.
