Beyond the Apocalypse

Chapter 341: The end of the exploding mountain battlefield

Grand Marshal Anglius took a deep breath, steadying himself. Jormungandr’s spell had scorched the hive’s heart, wounding nearly all the remaining drones. However, those creatures did not know when to stop, and even if half of their bodies were missing, they would still fight. Undoubtedly, they would rally as soon as they recovered from the attack.

The golden giant knew they couldn’t afford to hesitate; they needed to seize the momentum and take advantage of the opening the small yellow cat had created. His eyes met those of his soldiers—tired but unbroken.

"Burn everything you have in this last charge. With me!" Grand Marshal Anglius bellowed, his voice echoing across the battlefield.

Amara and Clasius stood side by side with the golden giant, their energies exploding as shadows and flames erupted from their weapons.

Determination was etched into the faces of the warriors of the Golden Wave Legion as they broke their defensive formation. Weapons were gripped tighter, shields raised higher, and with a unified roar, they surged alongside their leaders. They tore through the drones in their path, every swing of their weapons reducing enemies to pieces and blood.

On the flanks, Freya and Ouroboros glanced at each other, their eyes sharp and resolute as they saw the advance of the Golden Wave Legion. They nodded, their energies flaring as they turned to the Turkin soldiers beside them.

"Kill them all!" Freya shouted, her voice fierce. "Show them the price of aiming their hunger at your people!"

"Let them feel your wrath!" Ouroboros added, his claws glowing with a sinister light.

Inspired by the ferocity of the Xaos Forces, the Turkin soldiers roared in unison. Courage swelled within them, pushing aside exhaustion and fear. Leaving the safety of their defensive formation, they charged forward to deliver the final blow to the hive.
