Chapter 237: Into Trigun City
Vlad took the two Champion Devil Bloodlines from the Vengeful Runic Formation and left them at the doorstep of the alchemy laboratory. Jormungandr was amid his experiments, so Vlad did not want to disturb the small yellow cat. Overlord would inform him about the bloodlines for purification when the time was right.
After that, Vlad returned to the center of the underground level and glanced at the pile of death row criminals that resembled a small pyramid. Although he could proceed immediately with more sacrifices, he did not want the Legendary Devil to understand just how easy the process was for him, so he decided to wait a few hours.
Of course, Vlad would not simply waste his time. While waiting for the next sacrifice, he took out the materials needed for the demon soul-sealing runic formations. While Overlord would take care of the runic formations needed for the Mortal Tier soldiers, he would make the demon soul-sealing runic formations for those at the Champion level.
Vlad would need hundreds to grant one to all the Champions from the Xaos Kingdom, but that would not be a problem. He had the materials, and with everything he had learned, obtaining a soul integrity nearing 80% would not be difficult.
The next days were a constant cycle for Vlad. He would sacrifice twenty death row criminals to the Legendary Devil in exchange for two Devil Champion Bloodlines every three hours, before leaving them at the alchemy laboratory’s entrance. As he waited for the next batch, Vlad would make demon soul-sealing runic formations capable of sealing Champion demon’s souls.
After five days, there were no more criminals. As for the demonic sealing runic formations, Vlad had made nearly one hundred of them. While it was far from enough for all the Champions of the Xaos Kingdom, there was still time.
Vlad was very tired. While he had taken some rest during the runic creations, he had yet to have a proper sleep. Now that all the criminals were taken care of, he closed his eyes and fell asleep. After a few hours, he woke up with renewed energy and vitality and silently headed into the alchemy laboratory.
Inside the alchemy laboratory was Jormungandr, with a meaningful and focused light in his eyes as he stared at a metallic orb the size of a fist floating in front of him.
Vlad could not help but narrow his eyes as he gazed at the metallic orb and noticed the two magic matrices in it. The first was fiery red and the other lightning blue, their energy in a constant revolution.
Not wanting to do anything that could disturb the small yellow cat’s train of thought, Vlad did not dare to send forward the power of his A.I. Chip and continued gazing around the laboratory. Soon, his eyes focused on the fifty-three crystal flasks holding a red liquid.
