Vlad internalized all he had learned from sealing the soul of the demon centipede. After a few hours, he turned his eyes toward the next demon Champion and brought out a new parchment with a runic formation.
Two days went on like this, with Vlad sealing the soul of a demon Champion, analyzing the process with the help of the A.I. Chip, improving the runic formation, and trying again until there were no more left.
After finishing with the demon Champions, Vlad took an entire day for analysis and simulations before focusing on the High Champion Abyssal. This time he did not take any ordinary parchment but instead brought the skin of the Level 14 Abyssal Demon corpse from Nagan Mountain along with all sorts of new and extremely precious materials.
Vlad had been using standard and cheap materials because he wanted to ensure his method of soul sealing could be widespread and useful for anyone in his force. However, he had important plans for Huntu, and it was best to enhance the soul integrity percentage as much as possible.
Huntu’s eyes were full of rage and killing intent as he stared at Vlad. He had seen what happened to the others, but unlike the demon Champions, he showed no fear—only brutality. It was clear that the nature of Abyss was much purer in his soul, making it impossible for him to even feel fear.
Vlad did not say a word and simply began to prepare the materials with Jormungandr. It took them nearly two hours and used almost a fifth of all the resources they had amassed in their space rings.
After that, Vlad put everything into his runic pen and began to write the runic formation on the skin of the Level 14 Abyssal Demon. He used the help of the A.I. Chip to ensure that there was not a single flaw and that every runic line burst with power.
Vlad even went ahead and engraved a runic formation on Huntu’s paralyzed body to enhance the chance of success. The runic lines were so small and intricate that most Rank 2 Runic Masters could not even dream of engraving them.
Only after making sure that there was nothing more he could do to improve the power of the soul sealing did Vlad channel his energy into the parchment. It consumed nearly 85% of his energy pool before finally thin and crystalline black tendrils emerged and flashed into Huntu’s body.
The crystalline black tendrils did not blindly charge across Huntu’s body but instead used the runic formation engraved on his body to extend more thoroughly. It was a very slow but much more efficient method, and one only Vlad could use in Terra.
Huntu felt immense and unbearable agony as the tendrils extended through his body, but even then, his eyes did not falter, emanating pure and unrestrained rage and killing intent focused on Vlad. The Depravita of Wrath did not look away, staring directly into the eyes of the High Champion Abyssal as the crystalline tendrils finally reached the soul and began to retract, killing Huntu.
