Chapter 225: Final clash
Huntu’s power and martial abilities kept rising as the battle raged as he developed his potential during the fight. With a burst of dark red lightning, he charged, his bastard sword cleaving through the air with deadly intent.
Vlad’s response was a calculated dodge, using Lightning Charge to appear behind Huntu once more. He aimed a strike at the back of Huntu’s knee, hoping to destabilize the giant demon. The blades connected, sending a jolt of energy through the High Abyssal Champion’s leg.
However, those blades, which should have been able to crush a massive tree like a small branch, failed to break Huntu’s stance, and the skeletal demon remained standing.
Vlad’s eyes widened in surprise as the attack carried immense force, but then saw how the defensive mantle of dark red lightning was now concentrated on the back of the High Champion Abyssal. It seemed that Hortu had learned from the previous sneak attack and redirected his mantle of protection to focus on his blind spot.
It might sound simple, but it required a massive amount of focus and battle skill, and Vlad could not help but feel impressed by it. However, he did not have time to lose, as his instincts screamed danger shortly after his attack failed.
"Take this!" Huntu whirled around, his sword crashing down with immense force. Vlad barely had time to raise his blades in defense, the impact forcing him to his knees and cracking the ground beneath his feet. The weight of Huntu’s strength bore down on him, threatening to crush him entirely.
Vlad gritted his teeth, feeling the pressure of the bastard sword against his blades. With a surge of Force, he pushed back, using the momentum to roll away and regain his footing.
"Hmph, you are not the only one that grows stronger as he fights!" Vlad’s rage began to rise as he felt the power and danger of the High Abyssal Champion. The Heart of Wrath burst with power, each wound adding to his wrathful energy, enhancing his Force and physical might.
With the rise in strength, Vlad immediately counterattacked, displaying shocking speed. He channeled his energy into a series of rapid, precise strikes, each one aimed at a weak point in Huntu’s armor. The A.I. Chip guided his movements, analyzing the structural vulnerabilities in the demon’s skeletal frame.
Huntu’s killing intent grew with each successful hit Vlad landed, and he found it hard to track the small human’s moves.
"DIE!" The High Abyssal Champion roared, releasing another wave of dark red lightning, but the same move would not work twice on Vlad. The Depravita of Wrath had anticipated the move with the help of the A.I. Chip and evaded it with a well-timed Lightning Charge.
Huntu was surprised that Vlad managed to avoid his energy blast, but more shocked was the fact that the small human managed to vanish from his perception. Suddenly, he looked up and saw Vlad descending with both blades aimed at his head.
