Beyond the Apocalypse

Chapter 127: Killing Snow Blood Golems (II)

Immediately after freezing the small golem, the old Viking charged all his Magic and totemic energy before unleashing torrents of frost energy into the thin layer of coagulated blood snow under his feet. "Frozen Earth!"

Frozen Earth was a simple Mortal Tier Spell meant to freeze the environment, hindering enemies’ movement. However, the old viking charged so much energy and vitality into the spell that the torrent of freezing energy immediately began to freeze the layer of coagulated blood snow, the crystallization soon expanding to the surroundings.

"AHHHHHH!" The Snow Blood Golems roared with rage as they saw the coagulated blood snow beneath them, freezing. It was one thing if the layer was thin, but another entirely different if it were all frozen, as at that point, they would be like fish out of water.

The golems immediately marched forward, full of killing intent. Their focus on the old viking unleashed the torrent of frost energy. Each step they took forward made the ground tremble, proving just how immense the might of their charge was.

Freya’s eyes were sharp as she felt the moment and power of the Snow Blood Golem, but there was no hesitation as she dashed forward, accompanied by Vlad a few meters behind, ready to clash with the Snow Blood Golems. They were two against nine, so a direct clash would not be good, yet the duo flashed ahead regardless, their eyes full of focus and energy ready to explode.

Just before both sides collided, a flock of Lightning Eagles dived down onto the Snow Blood Golems, the animated spells too fast for the hulking monsters.

"¡BOOM!" "¡BOOM!" "¡BOOM!" "¡BOOM!" "¡BOOM!" "¡BOOM!"

Explosions ranged around the Snow Blood Golems, the blasts focusing on the creatures’ legs, destabilizing many of them and, in some cases, blowing their extremities!

Before the blasts and explosions could fully dissipate, Freya flashed forward and attacked one of the Snow Blood Golems that had lost one of its legs and was kneeling on the ground. She swung her hammer with such force that she lifted the hulking five-meter-tall monster from the ground and sent it flying away for more than ten meters!
