Jyera World Apocalypse

Chapter 28: The Council of Jyera

The mighty Kairos Mothership was the pinnacle of Jyera’s technology. Thousands of kilometers in diameter, equipped with the latest artificial gravity system, and capable of traveling at 1/7 the speed of light, it also had an entire self-sustaining biome.

This ship would be responsible for carrying half of the members of the Jyera Council and the largest number of members selected during the second round of colonization.

But now, the mighty ship had crossed the Warp Gate created by Jyera and reached the Alpha Millennium star even before the first colonization group. Not only that, there were only 3,000 people on board the gigantic ship. Among them were several powerful figures and high authorities in Jyera and Jyor. Such as several governors, mayors, and other influential politicians, many billionaires and millionaires, there were generals from the army and other defense agencies, and also influential people from the Capital of Aethoria, such as the former Police Commissioner and the Secretary of Security of the city.

Along with all these figures, their most important family members and friends also came aboard. But they were in different places on the ship.

But all these powerful and wealthy people paled in comparison to the 15 members of the Council. The nine men and six women all ranged in age from 30 to 70. They were the rulers of Jyera and Jyor and the leaders of the entire human race... They all wore uniquely styled clothes that reminded them of their origins in a time when their parents and grandparents ruled their piece of Jyera through monarchies, oligarchies, democracies, and dictatorships...

They were all sitting on 15 elevated seats as they watched a bright blue planet filled with white, stormy clouds slowly approaching. Below the 15 seats, only the people closest to the council were allowed in this room.

In addition to the view of the beautiful planet Chronos approaching, several screens showed Jyera and Jyor in real time.

When the sky of these two planets began to turn red, the various images showed hospitals full of dead people coming back to life. All the cameras stopped working, and all contact with the colonization fleet in the Jyera solar system was lost...

All 15 Councilors sighed... After confirming what had happened, one of the Councilors waved, and several waiters served glasses of drinks to everyone in the room. And the oldest man in the group of 15 councilors, Councilor Abraham Johnson, raised his glass, offering a toast to everyone who was there...
