As I opened my tightly shut eyes, panting for breath, I saw Kwon Taehyuk and Ryu Sunghyun fighting fiercely in the center of the room.
Kwon Taehyuk was clearing a path through the horde of monsters, while Ryu Sunghyun dealt with the ones Kwon missed.
Blades flew wildly, and luminous orbs exploded, sending monster corpses flying everywhere.
With attacks raining down from all sides, the monsters couldn’t even approach where Cha Sahyeon and I were hiding — they were slaughtered before getting close.
Forcing my heavy eyelids open, I stared at the growing pile of corpses.
'So far, everything’s going as I expected.'
Just as I thought that, the ogre opened its massive mouth and roared.
Graaagh!
The sheer murderous intent rolling off the ogre made my skin crawl.
It slammed both its giant fists onto the ground.
