“So in the end, it's a failure.”
“...Do you even realize how much money we poured into that thing?”
On the screen: a rampaging monster.
The people watching the creature that had just blown up an entire research facility let out disappointed sighs, full of regret.
“Terminate Lab 3 as is. Idiots—how could they mess up the dosage of the sedative?”
“Is this really the time to blame Lab 3? If the command system had been properly installed, this is clearly Lab 2’s /N_o_v_e_l_i_g_h_t/ fault.”
“So what if it’s the first subject we’ve successfully synthesized? It won’t obey a single order.”
“Administer the gas. Lethal dose.”
As the researchers tapped the control panel at the edge of the screen, colored smoke began to fill the chamber and obscure the monster.
Inhaling a heavy dose of gas laced with tranquilizers, the creature’s body gradually shrank—until eventually, it collapsed into a human form.
