However, even though she was surprised, she did not consent to Xi’en’s request. She refused him saying, "I am sorry, I can’t promise you that."

He understood that his request was somewhat demanding, but when pushed into a corner, it was the only way out.
Standing up, he faintly smiled, "It’s okay, I was being rude. I’m sorry if I’ve caused you any trouble."
Su Tang and Qiu Mo also stood up, "It’s fine..."
Xi’en’s gentle voice broke in again, "My name is Xi’en. Do you need help with something in the Xixili flatlands? If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask. It’s the least I can do in return for the favour of saving my life."
